Ty is a passionate and strategic data professional. After serving in various leadership roles in the hedge fund world for a decade, the last 6 years Ty has focused on data governance and data quality.  Ty earned an MBA in Finance, has grown 3 data governance programs, of varying success, from the ground up, serves President of the Buckeye Chapter of DAMA and is a co-author of the Smart Columbus data management plan. Ty lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Mark Plessinger

Mark Plessinger is the president of INKU which is a data governance and data management consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio. He has over 20 years of business and IT experience with the last 10 focused on the business side of  data governance and data management. Mark honed his skills at IBM and Cardinal Health before moving into consulting in 2013. His expertise includes defining and implementing new governance practices as well as revitalizing governance organizations that have stagnated or failed previously.​ He lives in Clintonville with his wife and four cats. Mark teaches spinning and works in his yard during his free time.​

Irina Ceaparu

Irina Ceaparu, Senior Manager, Enterprise Information Management joined Alliance Data in 2004 and has held multiple roles in the organization. She spent 8 years in a variety of analytical roles within the Marketing department, focused on CRM, reporting and analytics, then redefined her role and career path by using her passion for learning & development and supported 300+ Marketing associates achieve success through on-boarding, training, development and knowledge sharing programs. In 2016 she was recognized for her work and leadership with the highest recognition in the company (the President's Circle Award). She joined the HR department in 2017 and continued to expand her contributions in the organizational development arena to the entire Card Services business, most notable by implementing a best in class onboarding program for associates and leaders. In 2018 she transitioned into a new role in the IT department where she leads efforts around Data Governance and Data Quality Management for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. She has been a national board member of WELD (Women for Economic and Leadership Development) since 2013 and has held several roles such as Director of Programing, Director of National Signature Events and Governance Committee member. She was also the 2018 President for COATD (Central Ohio Association for Talent Development). Irina holds an MS in Computer Science from University of Maryland and an MBA from University of Cincinnati.

Doug is Managing Director for Slalom’s Columbus market responsible for the growth and success of our key practice delivery within the Ohio market. Over his 30+ year career in the central Ohio area, Doug has focused primarily on building value around data and analytics, with a concerted focus on the property and casualty insurance industry. After a 9-year road-warrior stint with PwC, he is glad to be back in his hometown, helping to further grow this great community we call home.

Christina is a business intelligence and data management specialist.  Her experience spans multiple industries including banking, aviation, insurance, manufacturing, and utilities.  Her areas of expertise include data integration, data governance, data analysis, and project management.  Christina holds both certifications in CBIP and CDMP, and is serving the board as VP of Education.
